# OEE Scorecard

> A dashboard item with one card per line showing OEE against its target, availability, performance and quality, the biggest loss and a short trend.

The **OEE Scorecard** draws one card per line (or plant, or
machine) with its OEE and how far it is from the target. Use it at the top of a production dashboard, where a plant
manager wants to see which line is behind before reading anything else.

Each card shows:

- **OEE** in large figures, coloured by its distance from the target, and the difference from the target in points.
- **Availability, performance and quality** as three bars. The one that costs the most OEE is marked as the biggest
  loss.
- **A short trend** of OEE over the periods in the data, when **Trend period** is bound and **Show trend** is on.

With **Show total card** on and more than one line, an **All lines** card comes first and totals every line. Cards wrap into as many columns as
the item's width allows, and into one column on a phone. Select a card to filter the other items of the dashboard by
that line.

## Data fields

**Line** is required. Give the OEE in one of two ways:

- **The sums it comes from** (recommended): **Planned time** and **Run time** for availability, **Actual output** and
**Ideal output** for performance, **Good units** and **Rejected units** for quality. The item works OEE out from the
sums, so the figure is exact for any grouping, and the **All lines** card is the real total of the lines.
- **The three percentages**: **Availability %**, **Performance %** and **Quality %**, already worked out per line.
Percentages cannot be added up exactly, so the item then shows no **All lines** card.

**Target %** gives each line its own target; without it, every line uses the **OEE target %** setting.

## Settings

- **OEE target %** is the target for lines that have no **Target %** field of their own.
- **Show trend** and **Show total card** switch the trend line on the cards and the **All lines** card on and off.

## Where to see it

The Meridian demo plant uses it on **Meridian · Line Performance**, **Meridian · Live Plant** and
**Meridian · OEE Command Center**.
