# Profile Reuse

> A dashboard item that lists every device profile with the devices on it in each plant, and the tags it defines once and puts in service.

The **Profile Reuse**  item lists every device profile as a row and
every group, usually a plant, as a column. Each cell shows how many devices run on that profile there.

- **Head.** How many profiles cover how many devices, how many are used in more than one group, and the tags defined
  once against the tags in service.
- **Rows.** Profiles used in the most groups come first, with their protocol, their tags and the tags they put in
  service (tags times devices).

Select a profile to filter the other items of the dashboard by it.

## Data fields

**Device profile** and **Group** are required: one row per device. **Device** counts each device once, **Protocol** and
**Tags** describe the profile (bind **Tags** with the **Max** summary), and **Setup order** puts the group columns in
sequence.
