Proxus supports a vast array of industrial protocols natively, allowing direct communication with thousands of devices without the need for intermediate OPC servers.
Core Protocols
These are the most commonly used protocols, featuring extensive documentation and high-performance drivers.

Selection Guide
Not sure which protocol to choose?
- Check Native Support: If your device brand is listed above (e.g., Siemens, Omron), always use the Native Driver. It allows access to specific memory areas (like Data Blocks or specialized Registers) that generic protocols might miss.
- Modern Devices: If native support is unavailable, check for OPC UA. It's the modern standard for secure, semantic data access.
- Legacy/Generic: If neither is available, Modbus TCP is the universal fallback supported by almost all industrial hardware.
