Proxus 2.0.1 fixes problems seen on installations that moved to 2.0.0. It adds no new features and needs no change to settings or to the compose file.
Fixes
- A new licence reaches edge gateways without a restart. The hub told the edge gateways that the licence had changed before it saved the new key, so a gateway that asked at once got the old key and kept dropping values at the old capacity. The key is now saved first. Each edge gateway also checks its licence every five minutes, so a gateway that was offline during the change gets the new licence within five minutes. See License.
- Older (V1) licences no longer drop values. 2.0.0 limited older licences without a capacity class to 2,000 points per second and one edge gateway, and values were dropped without warning right after the upgrade. For these licences the rate is now only measured: above the limit you get a warning and an alarm, but no value is dropped. The number of edge gateways comes from the old key itself, and the licence window shows the licence's real values.
- Beckhoff bulk reads on servers set to Turkish. The driver changed the address to capital letters with the current regional setting, so in Turkish
ig=0xF080becameİG=0XF080and every bulk read failed and fell back to single reads. Reads and writes that talk to devices no longer depend on the regional setting. Screens and texts for people still follow it. - The licence agreement shows again at sign-in. The licence agreement asked for after the move to 2.0.0 tried to open before the page was ready and was skipped. It is now asked for after the main window has opened and the licence has been checked.
