Proxus 2.0.1 Licence and sign-in fixes after the 2.0 upgrade Release notes

Overview

Proxus portal

What the Proxus portal is for, who uses it and how accounts, companies and workspaces fit together.

The Proxus portal is where you get licence keys, open support requests and, if your company is a Proxus partner, register the customers you work with. Customers, partners and the Proxus team all use the same address. Each person signs in with their own email and sees what their company may see.

Accounts, companies and workspaces

  • Account: one per person, signed in with an email address. You create it yourself, or from an invitation.
  • Company: your organisation in the portal. Its licences, support requests and people belong to it. Someone creates the company and invites colleagues by email, or the Proxus team adds it and invites its manager.
  • Workspace: what you are looking at. The menu at the top left switches between your Personal workspace (your own trial licences and support requests) and each company you belong to.

Your role in a company decides what you can do there:

RoleWhat it can do
OwnerEverything, including changing roles and handing over the company.
AdminInvites people, binds licences to installations and moves them.
MemberSees the licences and their keys and downloads them.

Language

The portal speaks English and Turkish. Switch with Türkçe or English at the top right. Each company also has a language: the emails, invitations and links the portal sends to its people use it.

Find your way around

The first time you open your personal workspace or a company, a short tour walks you through its menu. Close it at any time; Portal tour in the menu starts it again. Pages with a ? next to their title, such as Licences, Support, Team, Registrations and Company profile, explain their fields and buttons the same way.

Emails from Proxus

Besides the emails about your licences, requests and company, portal users get Proxus product updates and event news. To stop them, open Account settings, clear the box under Email preferences and save. Every such email also has an unsubscribe link.
