Asset Health Board

A dashboard item with one card per asset, worst first, showing its health, its trend, its vibration against the alarm limit and its temperature.

The Asset Health Board shows one card per asset, the one in the worst state first, so maintenance sees which machines need attention now. Use it at the top of a condition monitoring or maintenance dashboard.

  • Summary. How many assets are in each state: Act now, Watch and Good.
  • Card. One asset: its health score and state, its group (such as a plant), a small trend of its health over the period, its vibration against the vibration alarm limit, and its temperature. When the health jumped back up from one period to the next by 12 points or more, the card counts that as maintenance and shows how long ago it was.

Select a card to filter the other items of the dashboard by that asset. In a short, wide item the cards form one row that scrolls sideways. On a phone they sit two to a row.

Asset, Period and Health are required: one row per asset and period (usually a day). The newest period is "now"; the earlier ones draw the trend. Health is read as a score from 0 to 100. How you work it out is up to you, for example from vibration and temperature against their limits in a calculated field or a function. Group, Vibration and Temperature add those figures to the card.

Watch below (%)A number80
Act below (%)A number60
Vibration alarm limitA number4.5
Temperature alarm limitA number80
  • Watch below and Act below set the states: an asset is Act now below the lower threshold and Watch below the higher one.
  • Vibration alarm limit and Temperature alarm limit are the values the card measures vibration and temperature against.

Where to see it
